About Me

Hello, I'm Emma.

I'm the founder of Green Designs, a lifelong learner, neuropsychologist, writer, educational creator and curious observer of life.

I have always loved culture, especially poetry, music, literature, and language itself. There is something magical about words. They inform, educate, inspire, challenge, comfort, heal, and often cause me to just laugh out loud.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in my garden, listening to music, exploring new ideas, and sharing life with closest friends, loved ones and my wonderful dog, Dobby.

I am fascinated by learning in all its forms and maintain a deep interest in psychology, neuroscience, education, philosophy, quantum theory, emerging technologies, and the ways in which human beings continue to evolve and grow.

I am particularly interested in the relationship between knowledge and understanding.

Knowing something is valuable.

Understanding it can be life-changing.

I am also a firm believer that none of us ever truly arrive.

We are all students of life.

That is one of the reasons the Empty Bowl philosophy resonates so deeply with me.

Our willingness to remain open may just be one of the greatest strengths we can ever develop.
